Overview

Manage IOM travel-loan repayment accounts by contacting participants with overdue balances, explaining settlement options, recording dispositions, handling account enquiries, tracing borrowers, preparing repayment letters, supporting portal registration and protecting data under collection and safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Contact participants with overdue travel-loan accounts using compliant outreach
  • Discuss secure, fair and amicable repayment arrangements
  • Record contact outcomes, dispositions and account notes accurately
  • Answer participant account enquiries by phone and email
  • Use skip-tracing methods to locate appropriate account parties
  • Prepare and distribute repayment letters
  • Support participant registration and use of the TLP WebPortal
  • Protect records and escalate safeguarding or compliance concerns

Requirements

  • University degree with at least three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with at least five years
  • Experience in office management, accounting or bookkeeping
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
  • English fluency
  • Fluency in Amharic or Tigrinya
  • Valid residence and work authorization for the United States
