Oracle Financial Functional Stream Lead

The stream lead redesigns IOM’s global accounting architecture and Oracle-enabled finance processes, aligning master data, controls and reporting with IPSAS while advising the Business Transformation programme, managing change and training, and coordinating technical vendors for organization-wide implementation.

Department: Accounting and Financial Reporting Division / Business Transformation

• Lead accounting and financial-reporting design within Business Transformation
• Redesign the Chart of Accounts using IOM and IPSAS requirements
• Assess accounting master-data architecture and lifecycle controls
• Evaluate ERP capabilities and recommend process automation
• Advise on accounting practices within the future financial framework
• Design and deliver training for new finance processes and systems
• Manage organizational change and stakeholder adoption
• Coordinate external experts, consultants and technology vendors

• Master’s degree in business administration, management, finance, information technology or a related field with seven years of experience, or a university degree with nine years of experience
• Extensive accounting or financial-management experience covering consolidation, analysis, process design, master data and reporting
• Experience implementing effective financial controls
• Extensive experience with ERP systems and accounting technology
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Internationally recruited professional staff must be mobile
• Recommended candidates may remain eligible for similar appointments for 24 months
