Staff Officer (JTE Exercise Plans)

NATO seeks a Staff Officer at SHAPE in Mons to integrate joint effects and targeting into allied operations and exercises, coordinate exercise objectives and scripting across commands and J2/J3 staffs, organise targeting groups and boards, and draft targeting directives for strategic operational planning.

• Integrate joint effects and targeting into NATO operations and exercises

• Guide operational and exercise planning
• Draft targeting content for strategic plans

• University degree in a relevant discipline with two years of related experience, or higher secondary education plus advanced vocational training and four years of related experience
• Experience in joint effects and the Joint Targeting Cycle
• Experience planning joint or strategic NATO exercises
• English proficiency at SLP 3333
• Nationality of a NATO member state
