Overview
Supports IOM Ethiopia’s counter-trafficking and specialised migrant-protection work. The associate coordinates activities, partners and budgets, analyses protection data, monitors implementing partners, develops reports and procedures, organises capacity building and supports case-management and referral services.

Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and monitor counter-trafficking and specialised protection activities
- Analyse protection information and highlight issues for programme decisions
- Monitor budgets and recommend adjustments
- Coordinate project administration across internal and external partners
- Prepare reports, briefings, correspondence and statistical documentation
- Organise meetings, training and capacity-building workshops
- Monitor implementing partners and report non-compliance
- Contribute to procedures, concept papers and new project development
Requirements
- School diploma with six years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with four years
- At least four years of relevant professional experience, preferably in counter-trafficking or migrant protection
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Fluency in spoken and written Amharic
- Ability to maintain beneficiary confidentiality, safety, respect and non-discrimination
