Responsibilities
- Develop practical guidance for gender-responsive security risk management and operations
- Consolidate findings, practices and recommendations into usable security guidance
- Validate and pilot tools supporting person-centred security operations
- Deliver information sessions on person-centred and gender-responsive security
- Consult headquarters, multi-country offices, field personnel and United Nations experts to validate products
- Engage external coordination mechanisms to identify complementary practices and improve system coherence
- Prepare a final consultancy report
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in gender studies, human rights, public administration, international relations, law, human resources management, social sciences or a related field
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience developing and designing gender-related solutions for complex projects or programmes
- Fluency in written and spoken English
