Overview
Provides senior writing and editorial support to UN Women Lebanon. The consultant drafts and quality-assures donor reports, policy papers, speeches, proposals, advocacy materials and knowledge products, translating complex programme evidence into clear content for partners, media and public audiences.

Responsibilities
- Research and draft press releases, articles, reports and briefings
- Develop storylines, op-eds, policy papers and visibility materials
- Write speeches for the UN Women Lebanon Representative
- Edit and quality-assure donor, programme and corporate documents
- Produce summaries and briefs from research and knowledge products
- Develop communication materials for advocacy, partnerships and resource mobilization
Requirements
- Master’s degree in gender studies, international development, communications, journalism, public policy, human rights, social sciences or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
- Seven years of international experience in strategic communications, writing, editing, journalism, research, knowledge management or donor reporting
- Experience producing donor-facing reports, policy papers, proposals and strategic documents
- Editorial quality-assurance experience for complex technical material
- Knowledge of gender equality, women’s rights and human rights
- Fluency in English
