Overview

Develops the strategic narrative for the Push Forward Strategy Paper by synthesising project evidence and consultation findings into audience-responsive framing, recommendations and advocacy language that can mobilise diverse communities around gender equality in Türkiye.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize evidence from listening tours, workshops, consultations, youth activities and project knowledge products
  • Build a strategic narrative framework around hope, solidarity, shared responsibility and collective action
  • Develop audience-responsive framing for young women, young men, grassroots groups, local communities and public audiences
  • Integrate the narrative framework into the Push Forward Strategy Paper and refine successive drafts
  • Align findings, recommendations and messaging with human rights and gender equality commitments
  • Coordinate with the Programme Team, thematic consultants and stakeholders throughout drafting and review

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social sciences, political science, sociology, gender studies, communications, public policy, human rights or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in strategic narrative development, advocacy, creative writing, public discourse, public policy, social change or a related field
  • Experience developing strategic narratives, advocacy strategies, scripts, storylines or creative storytelling products for public audiences on social issues
  • Experience translating research findings, consultation outcomes and analytical evidence into coherent, accessible and action-oriented outputs
  • Fluency in written and spoken Turkish and English
