Supports the Africa Credit Ratings Initiative through strategic communications, knowledge management, partnerships and community engagement. The internship develops content, maintains digital resources, coordinates stakeholders and events, and helps report progress on sovereign creditworthiness and development finance work.

Responsibilities

  • Draft social media posts, newsletters, web stories and communications materials
  • Prepare presentations, briefing notes, speeches and talking points
  • Maintain the Africa Credit Ratings Resource Platform and knowledge products
  • Track media coverage and digital communications performance
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and coordinate partner follow-up
  • Organise webinars, workshops and Community of Practice engagement
  • Monitor programme activities and prepare donor and progress updates

Requirements

  • Current bachelor’s or master’s student, or graduate within the previous year, in communications, international relations, public policy, development studies, economics, journalism, political science or a related field
  • Excellent written and spoken English
