Senior Communications Associate

IOM seeks a Senior Communications Associate based in Majuro, Marshall Islands, to produce communication and media products supporting programmes across RMI, FSM, and Palau. The role covers content creation, visibility materials, field reporting, and social media monitoring.

Department: Programme Support Unit

• Support implementation of communication and visibility initiatives across RMI, FSM and Palau
• Draft human-interest stories, video scripts and social media content
• Draft press briefing notes and project briefs
• Attend programme events and produce visibility content
• Capture photographs and video clips for dissemination
• Prepare visibility materials using Canva per IOM guidelines
• Provide non-official translation of Marshallese-English documents

• High school diploma with 6 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree in Media, Journalism, Communications or related field with 4 years relevant experience
• Strong writing, speaking, and editing experience in English
• Proficiency in MS Office and Canva required
