Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, documentation and stakeholder communications
  • Follow up safety activities across technical, operational and safety teams
  • Plan, implement and monitor safety measures and controls
  • Prepare and update facility safety files and technical documentation
  • Track project actions, records and progress reporting
  • Contribute to chemical, electrical, nano and radiological risk assessments
  • Support safe commissioning and operational readiness of upgraded systems
  • Conduct site follow-up and coordinate contractors above and underground

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, safety engineering, chemical engineering or a related field
  • Maximum two years of professional experience since graduation by the application deadline
  • University degree with no PhD held
  • Nationality of a CERN Member State or eligible Associate Member State
  • Spoken and written English or French with commitment to learn the other language
  • Valid driving licence
  • Availability to work in radiation areas and underground installations
