Responsibilities
- Advise teams on chemical-safety risk assessments
- Verify safety of installations and activities
- Define compliant dangerous-goods transport requirements
- Support safety audits, technical reviews and projects
- Review engineering and tender specifications for conformity
- Draft safety rules, instructions and training
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in chemical engineering, chemistry or a related field
- Experience managing chemical safety for large industrial facilities or projects
- Experience advising on chemical and biological hazards and dangerous-goods transport
- Knowledge of relevant European regulations or equivalent national standards
- English or French proficiency with commitment to learn the other language
- Valid driving licence
- Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
