Research and Partnerships Analyst

Supports the Human Development Report Office’s research and strategic partnerships agenda by producing policy analysis, managing development data and knowledge products, coordinating institutional collaborations and events, and contributing to resource mobilisation for influential human development work.

Department: Human Development Report Office

• Conduct literature reviews, data collection and policy-oriented human development research
• Draft research notes and synthesise findings for Human Development Reports and other publications
• Compile and analyse indicators and datasets and prepare tables, charts and figures
• Coordinate strategic partnerships, joint workplans and collaborative research and outreach
• Track partnership deliverables, documentation, reporting and internal coordination
• Map prospective partners and prepare concept notes, donor updates and fundraising materials
• Organise consultations, seminars, workshops, launches and partner events
• Develop briefings, presentations, visualisations and communications that promote policy uptake

• Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations or another relevant social science, or a bachelor’s degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of progressively responsible experience with a master’s degree, or four years with a bachelor’s degree, combining policy research and partnership engagement in development, economics or public policy
• Experience working with data, indicators and evidence synthesis for policy analysis, reports or strategic decisions
• Fluency in English
