Public Partnership Specialist

Builds and manages UNICEF’s partnerships with the United States Government and other public-sector actors, advancing advocacy, legislative engagement, resource mobilisation and external positioning while translating political insights into strategic advice and communications.

Department: Public Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Division

• Drive public-sector partnerships, advocacy and resource mobilisation for children’s rights
• Support strategic engagement with the United States Government and other partners
• Provide political and legislative insights that inform advice to UNICEF management
• Strengthen the Washington office’s external positioning and diplomatic engagement
• Coordinate partnership knowledge management and advocacy communications
• Plan and organise advocacy events with public-sector and institutional stakeholders

• Advanced university degree in social science, political science, international relations, public policy, public administration, communications, international development, economics or a related field, or a first university degree with two additional years of experience
• At least five years of relevant experience in partnerships, government relations, public-sector partnerships, legislative affairs, external relations, stakeholder engagement or political analysis
• Experience liaising with the United States Government, particularly the Legislative Branch
• Fluency in English
