Responsibilities
- Drive public-sector partnerships, advocacy and resource mobilisation for children’s rights
- Support strategic engagement with the United States Government and other partners
- Provide political and legislative insights that inform advice to UNICEF management
- Strengthen the Washington office’s external positioning and diplomatic engagement
- Coordinate partnership knowledge management and advocacy communications
- Plan and organise advocacy events with public-sector and institutional stakeholders
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social science, political science, international relations, public policy, public administration, communications, international development, economics or a related field, or a first university degree with two additional years of experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in partnerships, government relations, public-sector partnerships, legislative affairs, external relations, stakeholder engagement or political analysis
- Experience liaising with the United States Government, particularly the Legislative Branch
- Fluency in English
