Responsibilities

  • Create a PHI inception package for country offices and Member States using ePHEM
  • Develop guidance, templates and examples for signal workflows, risk assessment and decision support
  • Test ePHEM, PHI Assistant, AIM and related digital tools and document actionable improvements
  • Develop use cases for signal triage, information synthesis and emergency decision-making
  • Prepare training materials, case studies and exercises on PHI, rapid risk assessment and AI literacy
  • Produce knowledge products and a final report capturing delivered outputs and lessons

Requirements

  • First university degree in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, nursing or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in epidemiology, surveillance or control of acute public-health events
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Technical knowledge of EIOS and SSA
  • Availability for assignment-related travel
