Responsibilities

  • Support management, coordination and oversight of country protection programmes
  • Manage protection-project operations, finances and staff and provide technical guidance
  • Develop protection case-management procedures and mainstream safe programming
  • Build referral and implementation partnerships with government, UN, humanitarian and community actors
  • Prepare programme reports and support donor and partner engagement
  • Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks with the country learning team
  • Visit sub-offices regularly to support protection implementation

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, psychology, international relations, political science, humanitarian affairs, economic development or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a relevant bachelor’s degree with four years
  • Experience in programme development and capacity building
  • Experience liaising with government, diplomatic, national and international institutions
  • Experience organizing consultations, workshops and seminars with senior stakeholders
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish
