Responsibilities
- Support management, coordination and oversight of country protection programmes
- Manage protection-project operations, finances and staff and provide technical guidance
- Develop protection case-management procedures and mainstream safe programming
- Build referral and implementation partnerships with government, UN, humanitarian and community actors
- Prepare programme reports and support donor and partner engagement
- Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks with the country learning team
- Visit sub-offices regularly to support protection implementation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences, psychology, international relations, political science, humanitarian affairs, economic development or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a relevant bachelor’s degree with four years
- Experience in programme development and capacity building
- Experience liaising with government, diplomatic, national and international institutions
- Experience organizing consultations, workshops and seminars with senior stakeholders
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish
