Asistente de Apoyo en Terreno (AVRR)

Provides direct field support for assisted voluntary return, family reunification and resettlement activities in Caracas. The role verifies case documents, guides migrants through travel and assistance stages, identifies protection risks and records operational incidents and programme data.

Department: AVRR Programme

• Support AVRR, reunification and resettlement activities at intervention points
• Organise field information, orientation and reception sessions
• Verify identity, consent and programme documents
• Coordinate schedules, routes and transfers for reception assistance
• Guide migrants through requirements and assistance stages
• Identify vulnerability and protection indicators
• Record cases and report operational incidents
• Apply IOM data-protection and confidentiality procedures

• University degree in a relevant social-science or humanities field
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish
• Applicants must have the right to work in Venezuela

• Initial appointment runs until 31 December 2026
• Appointment is subject to funding confirmation
