Senior Project Associate (LMI)

Supports IOM Indonesia's migration, business and human rights programme through project coordination, budget monitoring, partner liaison, reporting and capacity building, helping protect migrant workers in Asian supply chains and strengthen ethical labour-mobility practices.

Department: Labour Mobility and Social Inclusion

• Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor migration, business and human rights activities
• Analyse project data and present issues requiring management attention
• Monitor budgets and recommend implementation adjustments
• Coordinate administrative clearances and actions with internal and external parties
• Prepare status reports, correspondence, briefings, statistics and project documentation
• Organise meetings, workshops and training and help deliver capacity building
• Maintain liaison with government, UN, civil society, donor and private-sector partners
• Monitor implementing-partner compliance and support procedures and new project concepts

• University degree in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or a secondary diploma with six years of experience
• Indonesian nationality and knowledge of Indonesian migration policy and programming
• Experience in labour migration and migrant-worker protection or empowerment programming
• Experience liaising with government, international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations
• Experience working with migrant workers, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Indonesian
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
