Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor migration, business and human rights activities
  • Analyse project data and present issues requiring management attention
  • Monitor budgets and recommend implementation adjustments
  • Coordinate administrative clearances and actions with internal and external parties
  • Prepare status reports, correspondence, briefings, statistics and project documentation
  • Organise meetings, workshops and training and help deliver capacity building
  • Maintain liaison with government, UN, civil society, donor and private-sector partners
  • Monitor implementing-partner compliance and support procedures and new project concepts

Requirements

  • University degree in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or a secondary diploma with six years of experience
  • Indonesian nationality and knowledge of Indonesian migration policy and programming
  • Experience in labour migration and migrant-worker protection or empowerment programming
  • Experience liaising with government, international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations
  • Experience working with migrant workers, trafficking victims or other vulnerable groups
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Indonesian
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
