Project Associate (WASH & NFI)

Supports WASH and non-food-item projects by coordinating implementation, monitoring budgets and partner delivery, analysing project data, and preparing donor and management reporting. The role links IOM units, local authorities, communities and implementing partners in Venezuela.

• Coordinate implementation and monitoring of WASH and NFI project activities
• Compile, analyse and present project data for operational decisions
• Monitor budget availability, approvals and expenditure records
• Coordinate administrative actions across IOM units and external partners
• Prepare status reports, briefing notes, correspondence and statistical tables
• Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions
• Monitor implementing-partner delivery and report compliance gaps

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with three years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with five years of relevant experience
• Experience in WASH projects or non-food-item distribution
• Experience in field monitoring, data collection and beneficiary follow-up
• Experience coordinating with communities, implementing partners and local authorities
• Experience in database management, donor reporting and project-cycle management
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish

• Initial appointment runs until 31 December 2026
