Senior Programme Manager

Oversees IOM Iraq's Durable Solutions and DDRR programme, coordinating strategy, delivery, stakeholder engagement and programme support across peace, recovery and solutions work.

Department: Peace, Recovery and Solutions Division

• Provide strategic oversight and management of programme results
• Coordinate work across country offices, regional offices and headquarters technical divisions
• Consult with specialists and programme staff to refine strategy and build synergies
• Ensure implementation follows IOM policies and current technical practice
• Represent the programme in coordination mechanisms and implement agreed guidance
• Ensure compliance with project management, HR, finance, donor reporting and risk policies
• Promote monitoring, evaluation, learning and action-oriented research
• Manage stakeholder relationships, external communication and new initiatives

• Master's degree in a relevant field with seven years of professional experience, or university degree with nine years of professional experience
• Extensive experience in programme formulation, implementation and evaluation
• Managerial experience in staff management
• Experience establishing working relationships with governmental, diplomatic, national, regional and international stakeholders
• Work experience in a rapid transition or post-conflict area
• Experience in project development, implementation, reporting, finance and budgetary aspects
• Fluency in English

• Internationally recruited professional staff are required to be mobile
• Appointment is subject to funding confirmation and medical, security, accreditation, residency and visa clearances
• Selection may be used for similar positions for 24 months
