Responsibilities
- Support development and management of community-based protection interventions
- Supervise community-based protection, outreach and host-family teams
- Coordinate participatory community-based protection activities with relevant teams
- Develop outreach key messages and interventions with communities
- Maintain working relationships with communities, authorities, NGOs and partners
- Track and prepare briefs, analyses and reports on protection activities
- Organise capacity-building initiatives and develop tools and guidance materials
Requirements
- Master degree in a relevant field with two years of professional experience, or university degree with four years of relevant professional experience
- Experience coordinating with UN agencies, interagency partners, governments, NGOs and communities
- Experience organising and facilitating community-based protection or outreach interventions
- Experience developing strategic, operational and communication materials for behaviour change
- Experience in proposal development and preparation of SOPs and tools
- Fluency in English is required
