Responsibilities
- Conduct individual protection screening of migrants and identify vulnerabilities and protection risks
- Provide case management, follow-up and referrals to specialised services
- Support safe and dignified post-arrival assistance with privacy, confidentiality and informed consent
- Communicate assistance options to beneficiaries in culturally and age-appropriate ways
- Maintain case notes and data in IOM case management systems
- Coordinate with protection, health, psychosocial and logistics staff to ensure timely service provision
- Participate in protection coordination forums and strengthen referral networks
- Prepare reports, case summaries and monitoring inputs for protection activities
Requirements
- Master's degree in social sciences, international relations, research, law or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience
- Experience in protection case management in humanitarian or migration contexts, including survivors of GBV and human trafficking and children at risk
- Experience working with vulnerable persons, ideally including returnees or deported migrants with complex needs
- Experience with referrals and coordination with local protection actors, NGOs or government services
