Overview
The assistant supports IOM Bangladesh’s disaster, displacement, response and recovery work by coordinating implementation, budgets, data, reporting, partner compliance and cluster liaison, helping humanitarian projects deliver accountable assistance for displaced people and climate migrants.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate project implementation, monitoring and administrative follow-up
- Compile operational data, budgets and progress reports
- Support Displacement Management Cluster coordination
- Organise workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain project records and monitor partner compliance
- Guide junior support personnel when assigned
Requirements
- University degree in political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or a related field with three years of relevant experience, or school diploma with five years
- Experience liaising with government, UN agencies or NGOs
- Experience supporting disaster-affected displaced people or climate migrants
- Fluency in English and Bangla
