Senior Project Associate (WASH)

The associate supports WASH and shelter programming by coordinating project delivery, budgets, reporting and partner liaison, while tracking field activities, implementing-partner compliance and humanitarian needs to improve assistance for displaced and mobile populations in Venezuela.

• Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of WASH and shelter project activities
• Compile and analyse project data for operational decisions and issue escalation
• Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments to maintain delivery
• Coordinate administrative actions and clearances across organisational units and external parties
• Prepare status reports, briefing notes, correspondence and statistical documentation
• Organise meetings, training sessions and capacity-building workshops
• Maintain liaison with authorities, UN agencies, donors and humanitarian partners
• Monitor implementing partners and guide staff supporting project delivery

• Bachelor’s degree in a listed relevant field with four years of professional experience, or high school diploma with six years of professional experience
• Relevant experience in shelter, reconstruction, housing improvement or non-food-item distribution
• Experience supervising field activities and contractors
• Experience assessing needs, identifying beneficiaries and technically following interventions
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish

• Appointment is subject to funding confirmation
• Recommended candidates may remain eligible for similar positions for 24 months
• Appointment requires medical fitness, accreditation and applicable residency, visa and security clearances
