Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation and quality assurance of gender-responsive cash and voucher assistance
- Provide technical assistance and training to UN Women personnel and partners
- Design and manage beneficiary registration, deduplication and verification information systems
- Review and roll out cash assistance procedures and guidance notes
- Represent gender-focused priorities in the Inter-Agency Cash Working Group and relevant clusters
- Develop monitoring frameworks and conduct field verification of cash distributions
Requirements
- Master's degree in gender studies, international relations, international development or another social science, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience designing, planning, implementing and monitoring cash-based interventions
- Experience designing and managing information systems
- Technical proficiency with KoBo Toolbox, ODK or other mobile data collection and statistical software
- Ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple tasks and multicultural teams
- Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto

- Travel within Afghanistan may be required
