Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead urban and community transformation projects using systems and portfolio approaches
- Guide community listening, qualitative research, co-design and strategic foresight processes
- Coordinate municipalities and partners around circular-economy and AI-enabled local solutions
- Manage project activities, workplans, milestones, budgets and donor reporting
- Oversee procurement, consultants, service quality and contractual compliance
- Design capacity building on systems thinking, data literacy, innovation and adaptive management
- Develop partnerships, proposals and financing opportunities for sustainable local development
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in political science, development studies, business administration, public administration, economics, social sciences or a related field, or bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
- At least two years of relevant experience with a master’s degree, or four years with a bachelor’s degree, in project management, advisory services, project design, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience in project coordination, design and implementation
- Experience using computers, office software, spreadsheet and database packages and web-based management systems
- Experience working with local authorities, partners, communities, governments, donors and other stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Armenian
Desired Criteria
- Experience applying innovation methods and systems thinking to community transformation
- Experience preparing analytical documents, briefs and project proposals
- Experience establishing productive national partnerships and matching stakeholder needs to solutions
- UNDP or United Nations project-management experience
