Summary of Responsibilities
- Review, clean and structure the post-distribution monitoring dataset
- Analyse quantitative data by demographic, geographic and programme variables
- Identify trends, patterns, gaps and notable findings
- Create accurate analytical tables, charts and data visualizations
- Review qualitative responses and integrate relevant themes with quantitative findings
- Interpret results against monitoring objectives and indicators
- Draft the methodology, findings, conclusions and recommendations for the report
- Revise analysis and reporting in response to UNHCR feedback
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative data analysis using survey, monitoring, assessment or programme data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one analysis or visualization tool such as Power BI, R, Python, SPSS or Stata
- Experience in data cleaning, descriptive analysis, disaggregation and visualization
- Strong analytical report-writing and editing skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and incorporate feedback
Desired Criteria
- University degree or advanced studies in statistics, economics, social sciences, development studies, data science, monitoring and evaluation or a related field
- Experience with humanitarian, development, refugee or displacement programmes
- Experience with post-distribution monitoring, surveys or needs assessments
