Responsibilities

  • Map peace-education initiatives implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2014
  • Identify actors, partnerships, target groups, geographic coverage and implementation models
  • Review legal, policy and institutional frameworks governing peace education
  • Analyse programme approaches across formal and non-formal education settings
  • Identify thematic, geographic and institutional gaps and opportunities for coordination
  • Conduct document reviews, stakeholder interviews and focus groups in Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar
  • Apply participatory, conflict-sensitive and gender-responsive methods throughout the study
  • Produce a final mapping and gap-analysis report with strategic entry points for future Peacebuilding Fund engagement

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in peace and conflict studies, education, international relations, political science, development studies, public policy, sociology or a closely related field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in peacebuilding, social cohesion, education, governance, development cooperation or related work
  • Experience conducting analytical studies, landscape mappings, sector analyses or thematic reviews
  • Experience in qualitative research, including document review, interviews, focus groups and synthesis
  • Fluency in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and English
