Job Description

Supports UNFPA Sierra Leone's monitoring, evaluation and reporting framework across sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence and population programmes. The role strengthens results planning, data quality, analysis, field monitoring and evidence-based reporting with programme teams and implementing partners.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support results planning, M&E frameworks and country-programme workplans
  • Track programme results against targets and support project reviews
  • Collect, analyse and quality-check monitoring data with implementing partners
  • Design and deploy mixed-method data-collection protocols
  • Develop reporting templates and synthesize indicators into analytical reports and dashboards
  • Plan and lead monitoring visits across Sierra Leone
  • Maintain and optimise monitoring databases for senior decision-making
  • Support evaluation planning, use of findings and M&E capacity development

Role Requirements

  • University degree in statistics, social sciences, demography, public health, economics or a related field
  • At least three years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection or programme management
  • Experience planning and implementing project-monitoring activities with stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize programme-performance data and produce analytical reports
  • Good analytical, report-writing and computer skills
