Population and Development Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Support UNFPA Angola’s population-data, policy and monitoring portfolio through demographic analysis, evidence generation and results-based management. The volunteer strengthens programme monitoring, partner coordination, publications and real-time health-indicator tracking with national institutions.

Department: Population and Development

• Analyze census, survey, vital-statistics and demographic data
• Prepare population-dynamics reports and presentations
• Organize workshops and training on population data
• Support monitoring, donor-report quality assurance, evaluations and surveys
• Develop real-time monitoring for local health indicators
• Monitor workplans with government statistical and planning institutions
• Coordinate academic and government partnerships
• Quality-assure publications and reports

• Required proficiency in Portuguese and English
