Job Description
UNRCO Zimbabwe seeks two Online Volunteers to deliver digital advocacy, communications, visibility and knowledge-management support for MEL Week 2026. They will develop promotional and awareness content, provide live event coverage, document key messages and stories, monitor engagement, and produce a photo story, reports, analytics and final communications package for the event.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Draft promotional and awareness messages for social media
- Develop hashtags and engagement strategies
- Produce daily event highlights, summaries and social-media posts
- Support live digital coverage and stakeholder engagement through online platforms
- Compile quotes, success stories and lessons from presentations
- Monitor online engagement and compile reach and engagement analytics
- Prepare communications briefs, reports and the final knowledge package
Role Requirements
- Background in communications, media, public relations, M&E knowledge management, journalism, digital marketing or a related field
- Experience producing social media and digital content
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Strong interest in monitoring, evaluation, learning, SDGs and development programming
Desired Criteria
- Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Express or similar
- Experience supporting conferences, workshops or development events
