Overview

Monitors and assures the quality of Makani learning and child-development services in Jordan’s refugee camps during programme scale-down. The consultancy reviews field delivery, identifies service gaps, supports a focused package of learning and protection services, and reports evidence for accountable implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Makani centre operations and learning-service implementation
  • Assess programme quality and compliance during service scale-down
  • Identify learning, protection and community-service delivery gaps
  • Collect field data and prepare structured monitoring reports
  • Advise on prioritising a reduced package of integrated child services
  • Coordinate findings with programme teams and field stakeholders
  • Support quality assurance and accountability for volunteer-delivered services

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, social sciences, educational psychology, counselling, sociology, education, community development or a related field
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in learning, education, programme monitoring, community programming or educational counselling in humanitarian contexts
  • Experience working in refugee camps in Jordan
  • Fluency in Arabic and working knowledge of English
