Junior Urban Resilience and Stakeholder Engagement Consultant

Supports UN-Habitat’s Urban Lab with research, technical coordination and stakeholder engagement on water, climate and urban resilience. The consultant develops briefs, proposals, training materials and participatory processes that help country teams translate integrated urban planning into implementable projects.

Department: Urban Lab

• Review policies and strategies on urban planning, water, climate and resilience
• Gather data and document findings in concise technical briefs
• Coordinate technical activities across Urban Lab projects
• Provide expertise on water, climate, urban resilience and stakeholder engagement
• Develop presentations, training materials and capacity-reinforcement activities
• Design and facilitate participatory multi-stakeholder processes
• Contribute to Urban Lab publications, country proposals and development frameworks
• Develop fundraising strategies, proposals and the Urban Lab project portfolio

• Advanced university degree in urban development and planning, environmental management or a related field, or first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of experience in sustainable urban development, urban planning or a related field focused on water, climate resilience and urban systems
• Experience organising workshops, training sessions or stakeholder meetings and preparing supporting materials
• Fluency in English
