Responsibilities

  • Organise in-person and virtual meetings, workshops and conferences
  • Research and draft speeches and internal content
  • Report programme achievements and support programme-review activities
  • Develop communication materials for diverse audiences
  • Research housing, climate, environment and humanitarian urban issues in Africa
  • Coordinate with country offices on project concepts
  • Prepare webinars and discussions on urban resilience
  • Support reporting and communications with field and global offices

Requirements

  • Current graduate study, current final year of a first degree, or completion of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree
  • A field of study closely related to urban planning, environmental management, architecture, development studies, economics or a related field
  • Computer literacy in standard software applications
  • Ability to summarise and analyse technical urban and housing content
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
