Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and background research on environmental policy, biodiversity, natural resource management and green economy topics
  • Track and document Oman’s progress against national environmental commitments
  • Compile and analyse environmental indicators, data sets and country-level statistics
  • Benchmark environmental policies and good practices from arid and Gulf contexts
  • Prepare policy briefs, briefing notes, blog posts, infographics, presentations and social media content
  • Translate technical environmental content into accessible narratives for non-specialist audiences
  • Organise and document environment-related workshops, consultations and stakeholder dialogues
  • Prepare event summaries, talking points, presentations and background materials

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate student eligible for the WBG Pioneers Internship Program
