Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and background research on environmental policy, biodiversity, natural resource management and green economy topics
- Track and document Oman’s progress against national environmental commitments
- Compile and analyse environmental indicators, data sets and country-level statistics
- Benchmark environmental policies and good practices from arid and Gulf contexts
- Prepare policy briefs, briefing notes, blog posts, infographics, presentations and social media content
- Translate technical environmental content into accessible narratives for non-specialist audiences
- Organise and document environment-related workshops, consultations and stakeholder dialogues
- Prepare event summaries, talking points, presentations and background materials
