Responsibilities

  • Attend and summarise key discussions at meetings organised by the General Assembly, ECOSOC, Security Council and UN missions
  • Research and summarise developments related to implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
  • Contribute to analytical products on trends in relevant intergovernmental processes
  • Assist in planning and organising meetings, briefings, roundtables and seminars
  • Assist in preparing documents and arrangements for UNEP events at UN Headquarters

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a graduate programme, in the final year of a first university degree, or graduated within the past year
  • Field of study closely related to the internship
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
