Overview

Leads development of Bangladesh IMED's monitoring and evaluation framework, legislation, rules and training modules with a national consultant. The assignment strengthens results-based management and the systematic use of evidence in public investment planning, budgeting and policy decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of the IMED monitoring and evaluation framework
  • Draft the proposed monitoring and evaluation act and supporting rules
  • Develop training modules for implementation of the strengthened monitoring and evaluation system
  • Align the framework with results-based management and national planning processes
  • Work with the national consultant and IMED counterparts to complete the assignment

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social sciences, law, monitoring and evaluation, project management, development studies, economics or a related field
  • Ten years of experience in the project monitoring and evaluation sector
  • Proven experience drafting monitoring and evaluation frameworks, acts, rules and training modules
  • Five years of practical experience in project management and operations
  • Fluency in English
