International Consultant (Cybercrime Investigation Expert-English Speaker)

Home-based consultancy supporting UNODC cybercrime work in Africa through workshops, mentoring and technical guidance on investigations, digital evidence, online child sexual exploitation and abuse, open-source intelligence and first-responder procedures.

Department: Global Programme on Cybercrime

• Deliver workshops and mentoring on cybercrime investigations and digital evidence
• Train practitioners on online child sexual exploitation and abuse investigations
• Develop and deliver open-source intelligence and cyber-patrolling training
• Create curricula, standard operating procedures and learning materials
• Coordinate activities with UNODC regional counterparts
• Produce assessments and activity reports

• Advanced university degree in computer science, telecommunications, digital forensics, information technology, programming, cybersecurity, network security or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least ten years of experience leading cybercrime investigations involving digital evidence and device evaluation
• Experience training law-enforcement or criminal-justice authorities
• Fluency in oral and written English

• Home-based with travel to Africa
• Expected duration is 15 September 2026 to 15 July 2027
