Responsibilities

  • Review international research and practice for one assigned education or youth-development theme
  • Assess approaches used in low-resource and crisis-affected contexts
  • Translate research findings into implications for community programming in Cameroon
  • Submit a research question, outline and working bibliography
  • Produce and revise an individual 3,000-to-5,000-word paper with academic references
  • Maintain regular remote communication throughout the assignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in a field relevant to the assigned research area
  • Academic or professional experience relevant to the assigned topic
  • Ability to conduct structured desk research using academic, UN, government, NGO and statistical sources
  • Strong written English and ability to produce a substantial referenced deliverable
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and reliable internet access
  • Fluency in English
