Responsibilities
- Review international research and practice for one assigned education or youth-development theme
- Assess approaches used in low-resource and crisis-affected contexts
- Translate research findings into implications for community programming in Cameroon
- Submit a research question, outline and working bibliography
- Produce and revise an individual 3,000-to-5,000-word paper with academic references
- Maintain regular remote communication throughout the assignment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in a field relevant to the assigned research area
- Academic or professional experience relevant to the assigned topic
- Ability to conduct structured desk research using academic, UN, government, NGO and statistical sources
- Strong written English and ability to produce a substantial referenced deliverable
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and reliable internet access
- Fluency in English
