Job Description

Supports leadership recruitment and talent-pool development for UN peacekeeping and political missions. The intern researches senior candidates, maintains confidential profiles and reporting, prepares mission and stakeholder materials, and contributes to outreach and data work that strengthens leadership selection processes.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Research and update confidential candidate profiles for senior leadership positions
  • Support database cleanup and profile reviews for selection processes
  • Prepare mission and country profiles and stakeholder mappings
  • Assist outreach materials, meeting documents and leadership news reporting
  • Collect leadership-trend data and prepare internal reports
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and assessment-related projects

Role Requirements

  • Enrollment in or completion of a graduate programme, or final year or completion of a bachelor's programme
  • Field of study related to the internship
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Ability to draft news articles or social-media posts
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Desired Criteria

  • Power BI or CRM data-management knowledge
  • Graphic or visual editing software knowledge
  • Survey and poll design capability
  • Additional official UN language knowledge
