Job Description

Support the IOM Development Fund’s global project cycle by liaising with country offices, reviewing reports and project revisions, monitoring active grants, developing proposals and preparing outreach, briefing and knowledge materials for headquarters and field use.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Liaise with country offices on implementation, financial status and funding criteria
  • Review and edit narrative and financial reporting packages
  • Review project duration and results revisions with country and regional offices
  • Support development of proposals under IOM project and fund guidance
  • Monitor active projects through the Project Information and Management Application
  • Prepare outreach and public-relations materials for governments and field offices
  • Update fund information sheets, materials and studies
  • Draft presentations and reports for headquarters and country offices

Role Requirements

  • University degree in international relations, international affairs, development studies, economics, business administration, social sciences, law or a related discipline
  • Final-year bachelor’s student or graduate within the previous 12 months
  • Between 20 and 36 years old
  • Less than two years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in report writing and review
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Desired Criteria

  • Previous experience in an international environment
  • Experience producing leaflets, brochures or other public-relations material
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign or databases
  • Working knowledge of French
