Intern, Global Health Security, IFRC Health and Care Department Geneva

IFRC seeks a Global Health Security intern in Geneva to support data collection, research and knowledge management across epidemic preparedness, community health workforce, surveillance, emergency medical response and health policy, while producing briefs, presentations and advocacy materials.

• Collect data on epidemic preparedness, community health, surveillance, emergency medicine and health policy
• Prepare presentations, meeting summaries and concept notes
• Document and disseminate good practices, lessons, case studies and National Society experiences
• Maintain information systems, trackers and repositories for global health security initiatives
• Develop communication and advocacy materials highlighting National Society contributions
• Participate in meetings, learning activities and cross-functional humanitarian-health initiatives

• Current university-level enrolment or recent graduation, normally within one year of hiring, in a field compatible with IFRC activities
• Core proficiency in digital communication, content creation, digital safety, data literacy and technology-enabled problem solving
• Fluent spoken and written English
