Responsibilities
- Analyse the context and influencing landscape for communication and advocacy supporting the Ebola response in DRC
- Develop stakeholder maps and engagement strategies
- Develop and support implementation of Ebola communication and advocacy strategies
- Coordinate talking points, briefing notes and messaging packages
- Identify evidence gaps and strengthen evidence-based advocacy approaches
- Monitor communication and advocacy progress and produce regular reports
- Coach country-office teams remotely and during missions
- Produce social media, press, human-interest and virtual field-visit content across multiple channels
Requirements
- Master’s degree in communication or international relations
- Advanced expertise in humanitarian communication, advocacy or diplomacy
- Experience in public health emergencies, ideally Ebola or a similar outbreak
- Written and spoken French and English
