Responsibilities

  • Implement the project communication, advocacy and visibility strategy
  • Advise government and implementing partners on messages and outreach
  • Produce articles, stories, social content, briefs and donor materials
  • Design advocacy campaigns on anticipatory action and disaster preparedness
  • Document field activities through photography and videography
  • Apply privacy, consent, branding and data protection standards
  • Monitor media and social engagement and recommend improvements
  • Maintain multimedia archives and report communication results

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in communications, journalism, development studies or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in communications, documentation or media work
  • Nationality of the Philippines
  • Working knowledge of English and excellent written and oral Filipino
  • Willingness to travel to project sites
