Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug and implement geospatial and AI-enabled applications
- Prepare technical and user documentation and training materials
- Support deployed GIS systems, version management, data recovery and troubleshooting
- Manage and administer geospatial SQL databases
- Benchmark and propose new geospatial tools and libraries
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or a related field, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of geospatial systems using ArcGIS
- At least 3 years of experience working on ETL for geospatial data
- At least 3 years of experience with SQL, geodatabases, geospatial data management and migration
- At least 2 years of experience using Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for GIS
- Experience with stored procedure optimisation and debugging
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Applicants must be authorised to work in the duty station
