SharePoint Online/M365 developer

Design, develop, test, and support web applications using SharePoint Online and Power Platform for the United Nations, contributing technical expertise to solution design and providing application support.

Department: Enterprise Solutions Service

• Participate in the development, programming, testing, debugging, and implementation of new applications using SharePoint Online and the Power platform
• Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed applications, as well as training materials and conduct technical presentations
• Provide support for deployed applications including version management and troubleshooting
• Perform ongoing reviews with users and developers and respond to user requests
• Keep abreast of developments in the field, perform benchmarking, and propose new tools and libraries

• Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or related field, or a first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with SharePoint Online
• 3+ years of hands-on experience writing SPFX using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building apps with Power Platform and Microsoft 365
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with PowerShell and AzureDevops Pipelines
• Fluency in English (oral and written)
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the duty station where the position is located

• Expected duration: 6 months
• The consultant has 10 paid UN holidays per calendar year, following the calendar of the UNESCAP office in Bangkok
