Overview
Supports finance operations for IFRC’s Ukraine delegation by processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, maintaining records and assisting audits and month-end closure. The assistant helps ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial administration across projects.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify supplier invoices, supporting documents and payments
- Monitor supplier advances and uninvoiced purchase orders
- Support audits and project-expense verification
- Process partner per diems and invoice proposals and advise staff on procedures
- Reconcile value-added tax and nominal accounts and create corrective credit notes
- Post general-ledger journals and support month-end financial closure
- Maintain transaction registers, finance files, asset and inventory records
- Provide technical assistance across finance operations
Requirements
- University degree in finance, accounting, banking, economics, business administration or a related field
- At least three years of experience in financial management, financial support or administrative support
- Knowledge of finance and accounting processes
- Significant Microsoft Excel experience and general computer literacy
- Experience preparing narrative and financial reports
- Good written and spoken English and Ukrainian
