Responsibilities
- Participate in field operations covering communication, reception and geological risk monitoring
- Organise and safely guide community members during emergency evacuations
- Support shelter operations and help address community needs at reception points
- Monitor warning signs and threats and act to mitigate potential harm
- Provide basic first-aid guidance and support emergency communication
- Promote awareness of local risks, safe practices and community resilience
- Organise operational materials and equipment and comply with safety protocols
- Collect field information and produce weekly and monthly activity reports
Requirements
- High school diploma, or two additional years of relevant experience beyond the stated experience requirement
- Experience in social mobilisation activities and social work in informal settlements or urban communities
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Brazilian nationality or permanent residence in Brazil
