Operations Manager

Provides strategic operational leadership for UNICEF's Ebola response in eastern DRC, overseeing finance, supply chain, administration, risk and ICT so emergency teams receive timely supplies, personnel support and resilient systems while resources, controls and governance remain effective.

• Lead administration and field operations for the Ebola emergency response
• Oversee financial management, resource planning and emergency controls
• Direct supply-chain, logistics and service delivery for affected areas
• Manage operational risks and strengthen governance and internal controls
• Coordinate ICT support for uninterrupted emergency programme delivery
• Advise the Ebola Coordination team on resource optimisation and operational approaches
• Enable rapid personnel deployment, wellbeing and timely supply delivery

• Advanced university degree in accounting, finance or business administration
• At least eight years of professional finance and accounting management experience, including experience at the international level
• Fluency in French and intermediate English

• Temporary appointment lasting six months
