Responsibilities
- Lead and support field teams during community resilience activities
- Serve as the focal point between the project and community and build local trust and collaboration
- Plan field activities, schedules and delivery strategies around community needs
- Promote community awareness of disaster prevention, preparedness and group responsibilities
- Direct communities to reception locations when disaster risks arise
- Assess field operations, resolve conflicts and adapt delivery to territorial conditions
- Identify team training needs and support community training delivery
- Produce monthly reports on personal work, performance indicators and operational challenges
Requirements
- High school diploma, or two additional years of relevant experience beyond the stated experience requirement
- At least two years of community mobilisation experience related to urban development or disaster risk management in Brazil
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Brazilian nationality or permanent residence in Brazil

- Six-month consultancy paid by monthly allowance upon approval of activity reports
