Overview

Plans and delivers events for NATO’s Strategic Direction South Hub, taking ownership from brief and venue sourcing through contracting, logistics and on-site execution. The role controls budgets, negotiates with suppliers and coordinates travel, accommodation, safety and participant requirements for international engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop event concepts, production plans and delivery schedules
  • Manage multiple events from initial brief through on-site execution
  • Source venues, contractors and suppliers and negotiate commercial terms
  • Control event budgets and submit supporting financial estimates
  • Coordinate accommodation, transport and logistics for guests and partners
  • Manage catering, equipment, invitees and special-visitor requirements
  • Ensure legal, insurance, health, administrative and safety compliance
  • Manage event-related contracting, procurement and credit-card activity

Requirements

  • Higher secondary education and higher vocational qualification in accounting, finance, management, business or public administration with three years of relevant experience, or secondary education and advanced vocational qualification with five years
  • At least three years of event-industry experience
  • Experience delivering events within budget and legal, insurance, health and safety requirements
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and contractors
  • English proficiency at NATO SLP 3333
  • Nationality of a NATO member country
